Description

You will build and maintain distributed systems using Java and microservices architectures.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend services using Java 8/11, Spring Boot, and REST APIs.
• Design and implement data solutions using Kafka, MSK, and SQS.
• Manage cloud infrastructure and deployments within AWS environments.
• Apply software development best practices within an Agile Scrum framework.
• Work independently to lead modules and manage technical deliverables.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in Java 8 and Java 11.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Microservices.
• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services including EC2, EKS, S3, IAM, and Aurora PostgreSQL.
• Proficiency with Kafka and distributed systems.
• Experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code.
• Working knowledge of either NodeJS/ExpressJS or Django.
• Experience with ORM tools such as JPA or Hibernate.
• Database management skills across MySQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Oracle.
• Familiarity with OAuth and CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.

Preferred Skills

• AWS certification.
• Module lead experience.
