Description

Design, build, and maintain high-performance backend services and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement RESTful APIs and asynchronous processing flows with a focus on resiliency and scalability.
• Own the full software development lifecycle, including automated testing, CI/CD integration, deployment, and production support.
• Leverage GitHub Copilot to generate scaffolding, automate boilerplate tasks, and improve code quality and documentation.
• Apply secure coding standards and conduct code reviews to mentor junior developers and drive engineering excellence.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, and SRE teams to deliver high-quality software solutions in an Agile environment.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of hands-on development experience with Java/J2EE.
• Strong expertise with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, and Spring Security.
• Proven experience building microservices architecture and event-driven backend systems.
• Solid command of Git and effective daily use of GitHub Copilot for code generation and refactoring.
• Experience with relational databases (Oracle, Postgres, or MySQL) and caching/storage (Redis, Cassandra).
• Proficiency with JUnit, Mockito, and automated testing strategies.
• Strong understanding of multithreading, performance tuning, and debugging complex issues.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience mentoring engineers and driving best practices in cross-functional teams.
