Description

You will design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications, owning the full lifecycle from architecture to deployment.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Build and enhance applications using Java SDK 21 and Spring Boot.
• Design and implement REST APIs with JSON-based integrations.
• Develop and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines for automated builds and deployments.
• Support web applications using Thymeleaf, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Deploy and manage infrastructure on AWS (ECS, API Gateway, DynamoDB) using Terraform.

Required Skills

• 5+ years professional experience with Java (SDK 21 preferred).
• Strong proficiency in Spring Boot and the Spring Framework.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs and JSON.
• Hands-on experience with GitLab for source control and CI/CD.
• Practical knowledge of AWS services (ECS, API Gateway, DynamoDB).
• Familiarity with Terraform for infrastructure-as-code.
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Thymeleaf server-side templating.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot).
