Description

You will design and develop customer-facing web services within an agile team, delivering features across multiple product layers. You own the full lifecycle from object-oriented analysis to deployment.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement application features using Object-oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD), UML, and Java Design Patterns.
• Build and maintain REST/SOAP web services using Spring Boot and Java EE.
• Manage data persistence across relational and NoSQL databases, ensuring query performance.
• Integrate microservices using JMS, Spring Integration, and messaging brokers like ActiveMQ or WebSphere MQ.
• Develop front-end interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, Angular, and React.

Required Skills

• 5-7 years of software development experience with Java 1.8.
• Strong proficiency in Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and the Spring Framework.
• Experience with relational databases (MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL) including PL/SQL and performance tuning.
• Hands-on with Hibernate, JPA, and JDBC for object-relational mapping.
• Front-end skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, Angular, and React.
• Experience with service technologies including EJB, Groovy, and XML (XSLT, XPath, XQuery).
• Cloud infrastructure experience with AWS and CloudFormation.
• NoSQL experience, specifically DynamoDB.
• CI/CD and testing tools: Maven, Jenkins, JUnit, Mockito, Chef/Puppet.
• Linux/UNIX Shell Scripting and SCM tools like Git or Subversion.
• Caching technologies such as Redis or EhCache.

Preferred Skills

• Monitoring tools: Dynatrace, CloudWatch, or Zenoss.
• Familiarity with JBoss, Glassfish, or WebSphere servers.
