Description

You will design, build, and maintain scalable microservices and enterprise applications in a cloud-native environment.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design system architectures using UML sequence diagrams, ER models, and data flow diagrams.
• Build microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud deployed on Kubernetes and Cloud Foundry.
• Own the CI/CD pipeline by developing Jenkins files and Maven build scripts to automate deployments.
• Optimize application performance through Redis caching, NoSQL databases, and SQL query tuning.
• Maintain and enhance legacy systems involving EJBs, Servlets, and SOAP web services.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in software engineering or related roles.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Spring Integration.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Cloud Foundry, and Docker-based deployments.
• Hands-on expertise with RESTful APIs, Swagger, and JSON/XML data mapping.
• Strong knowledge of JPA, Hibernate, and RDBMS using SQL and PL/SQL.
• Experience with CI/CD tools including Jenkins, Maven, Git, SonarQube, and Nexus.
• Competency in testing frameworks such as JUnit, Mockito, and Cucumber for TDD/BDD.
• Ability to debug complex multi-threading, concurrency, and network issues.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments and Shell/Bash scripting.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of NGINX and infrastructure management.
• Experience using JIRA, Confluence, or IBM Rally for task management.
