Description

Build and maintain critical customer-facing applications while establishing coding standards and influencing architecture decisions.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable applications aligned with business requirements.
• Provide Level 3 production support and build automation, monitoring, and self-healing capabilities.
• Mentor junior engineers and guide technical decisions.
• Establish and enforce coding standards across the team.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of software development experience.
• Strong Java and Spring Boot background.
• Solid SQL skills with Oracle and/or PostgreSQL.
• Experience with JavaScript and HTML.
• Proficiency in messaging technologies: Kafka, IBM MQ, or ActiveMQ.
• Experience with Git-based source control (GitHub or GitLab).
• Proven experience mentoring junior developers.

Preferred Skills

• JPA / Hibernate experience.
• Kubernetes & Docker exposure.
• GitLab CI/CD / DevOps exposure.
