Description

Lead the design and implementation of scalable multi-tier applications and hybrid cloud architectures.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Implement Integrated Justice Portal standards for UI, development methodology, and coding styles.
• Act as the primary technical liaison with infrastructure teams to resolve performance issues and execute failover, endurance, and deployment testing.
• Provide analysis, design, and code reviews for enterprise applications.
• Oversee development activities including data structures, logical database modeling, and testing.
• Deliver technical guidance to developer teams and assist with the remediation of end-of-life applications.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience designing scalable multi-tier applications using OO/SOA, data structures, and JEE design patterns.
• Expertise in Java, JEE, JSF, XML, and XSLT.
• Experience deploying applications in IBM WebSphere Portal 6.1, WebSphere Application Server 6.0+, or JBoss 7+.
• Experience designing hybrid cloud applications across on-premises and AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud environments.
• Proven ability to create high/low-level designs, performance test plans, architectural standards, and ER diagrams.
• Experience analyzing system performance data to identify and resolve application or environment issues.
• Proficiency working within Windows Server 2019 or higher.
• Experience developing and presenting technical Proof of Concepts (POC) to stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with technical infrastructure liaison and failover planning.
