Description

You will build and improve the back-end for an internal tool managing catalog metadata, live stream provisioning, and execution.

Responsibilities

• Develop API endpoints supporting the front-end of the live content management system.
• Build integrations between the live stream management system and media asset/distribution systems.
• Implement real-time sharing of live stream status changes to internal and external partners.
• Create new APIs, features, and services, including tools for managing these components.
• Optimize applications for cloud and distributed computing, adding monitoring and observability hooks.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of programming experience with Java 17.
• Proven experience with Spring, REST, and SQL.
• Experience with OOP design and development principles.
• Demonstrated ability to translate user stories into technical specifications.
• Experience developing and maintaining mission-critical systems.
• Familiarity with Hazelcast and Postgres.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
