Description

You will develop and maintain core systems for live-streaming management, syndication, and distribution.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design, modify, and develop software applications, APIs, database schemas, and system integrations.
• Build integrations between the live stream management system and media asset/distribution platforms.
• Create new APIs, features, and services to meet business requirements.
• Optimize applications for cloud and distributed computing, including implementing monitoring hooks.
• Lead development efforts across the full software life-cycle, from grooming tickets to testing.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of professional programming experience.
• Experience with Java 17, Spring, REST, Hazelcast, and Postgres.
• Proven experience with OOP design and development.
• Proficiency in SQL and core Java development.
• Experience building and maintaining mission-critical systems.
• Familiarity with Microservices architecture.
• Experience with cloud platforms, specifically AWS or GCP.
• Experience translating functional specifications into technical designs.
• Experience with distributed computing concepts.
