Description

You will own development on the Reference Data platform, acting as a technologist with deep command over the Java stack and enterprise architecture.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Own development of new platform features adhering to established best practices and group standards.
• Drive software development across the lifecycle: requirement analysis, design, and implementation.
• Engage with a global user base to design effective user interfaces for onboarding and regulatory platforms.
• Improve team agile development practices through continuous contribution.
• Coordinate with internal/external groups, including offshore teams and vendors.

Required Skills

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Java EE and Core Java.
• Expertise in Web Service development, REST, and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
• Strong knowledge of Object Oriented Design, Design Patterns, Architecture, and Application Integration.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with database design.
• Strong experience with development and automated testing frameworks like Spring, JUnit, and BDD.
• Experience working with Unix/Linux environments.
• Ability to translate technical designs into workable solutions and debug complex systems.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Angular for Web UI development.
• Experience with distributed caching, NoSQL (Mongo), or Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Spark).
