Description

You will own the development and maintenance of backend services, leveraging Java and the Spring framework to build robust REST web services. You will manage application deployment via Azure services, including Functions and Container Apps, while ensuring system health through Splunk monitoring and dashboards. Your role involves troubleshooting complex technical issues, implementing long-term solutions, and researching new technologies within computer science and data domains. You will collaborate within Agile teams to deliver reliable software.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain REST web services using the Spring framework.
• Manage and deploy applications using Azure Functions and Container Apps.
• Write Splunk queries and build dashboards to monitor system health.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement long-term solutions.
• Research and apply new technologies to ongoing projects.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional experience with strong Java knowledge.
• Hands-on experience with the Spring framework.
• Experience building and consuming REST web services.
• Proficiency with Azure services such as Functions and Container Apps.
• Experience writing Splunk queries and creating dashboards.
• Experience working with both relational and NoSQL databases.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience working within Agile teams.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical experience.
