Description

You will design and build backend services using Java, Scala, or Python, translating functional requirements into working code.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Translate functional requirements into working code and algorithms.
• Extend existing functionality while ensuring appropriate test coverage.
• Design and implement solutions involving relational data and complex SQL queries.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipeline processes.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in two of Scala, Java, or Python.
• Expertise with big data frameworks like Spark and Databricks.
• Solid understanding of unit testing, integration testing, and BDD (JUnit, Cucumber).
• Proficiency with SQL and working with relational databases.
• Familiarity with API concepts and data transfer mechanisms.
• Experience with code versioning and Git workflows.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or TeamCity.

Preferred Skills

• Experience designing scalable backend services.
• Ability to manage Pull Requests effectively.
