Description

You will design and implement real-time, mission-critical data systems that consume data from multiple providers.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain microservices using Java, Scala, or GoLang.
• Design APIs using REST, GraphQL, WebSocket Subscriptions, and gRPC.
• Debug distributed systems and collaborate with infrastructure teams to resolve reported issues.
• Implement engineering best practices including code reviews, refactoring, security audits, and performance tuning.
• Manage data consumption and analysis across SQL and NoSQL database management systems.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of hands-on experience with Java, Scala, or GoLang.
• Expertise in building applications with REST, GraphQL, and gRPC architectural styles.
• Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases including Oracle, MySQL, Redis, and MongoDB.
• Deep understanding of Go concurrency, including goroutines and channel patterns.
• Experience with Spring Boot and building large-scale enterprise web applications.
• Experience with CI/CD, Git workflows, and build tools.
• Strong knowledge of message queues and event processing streaming systems.
• Ability to apply TDD practices to maintain high-quality code.

Preferred Skills

• Experience building, deploying, and debugging on AWS.
• Contributions to open-source projects.
• Experience with capacity planning, failover design, and disaster recovery.
