Description

You will design and develop enterprise applications using Java/JEE technologies within a financial services environment. You own the end-to-end development lifecycle, from requirements analysis through coding, testing, and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Design and build efficient, reusable, and reliable code using complex Java/JEE technologies and middleware systems.
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs to devise technical solutions and improve system performance.
• Manage source code repositories and support production releases using CI/CD tools.
• Implement and maintain messaging systems and web services for distributed applications.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of Java/JEE software engineering experience, specifically within financial services.
• Proficiency in JAVA, JEE, Spring, and Hibernate.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Spark and Apache Tomcat.
• Experience with Python and data modeling.
• Knowledge of Sybase, Oracle, or GXT/GWT UI frameworks.
• Proficiency with REST/SOAP Web Services.
• Experience with messaging systems such as JMS, MQ, Tibco, Solace, or Kafka.
• Proficiency with Maven, SVN, or GIT and IDEs like Eclipse or IntelliJ.
• Experience with Jenkins, Ansible, and Kubernetes.
• Fundamentals in Unix/Linux, Perl, and Shell Scripting.

Preferred Skills

• Master’s degree in Computer Science with 5 years of design and development experience.
• Knowledge of the prime services domain.
• Experience with Tableau or Power BI.
