Description

You will design, build, and maintain complex Java/JEE applications within an agile environment, owning the full development lifecycle from requirements analysis to production maintenance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable applications using Java/JEE and middleware systems.
• Manage the end-to-end development process, including code reviews, testing, and deployment.
• Identify performance bottlenecks, resolve bugs, and ensure code reliability and reusability.
• Manage source code repositories and support production releases and maintenance.
• Provide status updates and escalate technical issues to stakeholders as needed.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of software engineering experience, preferably in financial services.
• Strong proficiency in Core Java and JEE standards.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Framework and Hibernate.
• Experience with data modeling and Apache Spark.
• Proficiency with Apache Tomcat and RESTful Web Services.
• Knowledge of database systems such as Sybase or Oracle.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language: Python, Perl, or Shell.
• Experience with build tools (Maven) and version control (SVN/GIT).
