Description

Lead backend development for server-side applications using Java and the Spring ecosystem.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable RESTful APIs using Spring Boot, Spring Data, and Spring Integration.
• Build and maintain robust database integrations with RDBMS platforms such as Oracle, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and manage dependencies using Gradle or Maven.
• Ensure code quality through test automation, adhering to the testing pyramid (unit, integration, API, and system tests).
• Collaborate within Agile/SCRUM teams to deliver high-quality software.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of hands-on experience developing server-side applications in Java.
• Strong proficiency with Spring ecosystem components: Spring Boot, Spring Data, and Spring Integration.
• Deep experience with RDBMS technologies, specifically Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Proven track record in RESTful API design and development.
• Experience with build tools and dependency management (Gradle, Maven).
• Knowledge of AWS cloud technologies and services.
• Understanding of CI/CD technologies and test automation frameworks.
• Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM methodologies and collaborative communication.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with NoSQL, Graph, or Vector databases.
• Knowledge of event sourcing and distributed message systems (SNS/SQS, Kafka).
• Experience with TDD and BDD testing approaches.
