Description

You will design, build, and maintain high-performance Java services and REST APIs.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable microservices using Java, J2EE, and Spring Boot.
• Build and maintain RESTful services, asynchronous processing flows, and integration components.
• Own full lifecycle development including design, coding, automated testing, CI/CD integration, and production support.
• Leverage GitHub Copilot to generate scaffolding, automate boilerplate tasks, and improve code quality.
• Mentor junior developers, perform code reviews, and enforce secure coding standards and API governance.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of hands-on development experience with Java and J2EE.
• Strong expertise in Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, and Spring Security.
• Proven experience with microservices architecture and event-driven patterns.
• Deep understanding of relational databases such as Oracle, Postgres, or MySQL.
• Proficiency in Git and effective daily use of GitHub Copilot for code generation and refactoring.
• Experience with JUnit, Mockito, and automated testing strategies.
• Knowledge of Redis and Cassandra.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and containerization using Docker or Kubernetes.
• Strong skills in multithreading, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.

Preferred Skills

• Experience mentoring engineers and driving engineering excellence in a cross-functional Agile environment.
• Ability to break down complex tasks into clean, maintainable code.
