Description

You will design and build scalable software solutions for large-scale Big Data applications in high-volume transactional environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement fast, flexible, and scalable software solutions using Java and Scala.
• Build large-scale distributed data-intensive platforms focused on resiliency and availability.
• Enhance existing Big Data applications to improve performance and scalability.
• Manage software lifecycle using Linux, git, and Maven or Gradle.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional programming experience in an enterprise setting.
• 4+ years of software development experience specifically as a Spark/Scala developer.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Java and Scala.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Big Data technologies.
• Experience designing distributed data-intensive platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Linux, git, and Maven or Gradle.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with NoSQL databases including MapR DB, HBase, or Cassandra.
• Familiarity with Hadoop (MapR), Spark, Yarn, and Hive.
