Description

Build and maintain modern web applications using distributed service architecture. This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop full-stack features from client-side interfaces to the persistence layer.
• Design and implement scalable, multi-threaded server applications within multi-tier enterprise architectures.
• Manage data persistence and complex logic using SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle databases.
• Implement distributed services using JEE 6 technologies and established design patterns.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software development experience.
• Expert knowledge of Java and Object-Oriented programming.
• Proficiency with Spring MVC and jQuery/jQuery-UI.
• Strong experience with SQL, PL/SQL programming, and Oracle databases.
• Deep understanding of JEE 6, including JPA, JAX-RS, JAX-WS, and JMS.
• Expertise in Java EE APIs: EJBs, Servlets, JTAs, JSPs, JSTL, and JDBC.
• Experience with distributed service architecture and multi-threaded applications.
• Working knowledge of Linux and Windows environments.
• Familiarity with Maven and design patterns.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with data grid technology such as Infinispan or Ehcache.
• Knowledge of ORM frameworks like MyBatis.
• Background in the insurance industry.
