Description

You will lead the design, development, and testing of authentication integrations, migrating existing Java applications from Agency Active Directory to Commonwealth COV Active Directory using Okta for multi-factor authentication.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement complex programming duties, including system enhancements and maintenance, following security best practices.
• Manage the full system development lifecycle (SDLC) for automated IT applications and software.
• Collaborate with analysts and domain experts to document requirements, estimate effort, and ensure system needs are met.
• Execute deployment plans, including back-out procedures and post-implementation testing, to maintain system availability.
• Mentor IT staff and provide technical leadership on system integration and transition.
• Troubleshoot issues related to scalability, response times, security, and accessibility.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of Senior level Java development experience.
• Extensive experience with Java, Spring, Spring MVC, and Hibernate.
• Proficiency with Eclipse, JBoss, Maven, and Subversion.
• Strong SQL and PL/SQL skills for MSSQL databases.
• Experience managing software requirements, use cases, and interface documentation.
• Ability to work with Federal Tax Information (FTI) to support program integrity.

Education

• Any Graduate degree.
