Description

You will lead the design, development, and testing of Java applications, focusing on migrating authentication from Agency Active Directory to COV Active Directory using Okta for multi-factor authentication.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement authentication integrations using Active Directory and Okta MFA.
• Manage all phases of the system development lifecycle (SDLC) for automated IT applications.
• Perform complex programming, enhancements, and maintenance using Java and the Spring framework.
• Troubleshoot issues related to scalability, availability, security, and response times.
• Mentor other IT staff and prepare technical documentation, including use cases and interface documents.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in software development.
• Proficiency in Java and the Spring framework, including Spring MVC and Hibernate.
• Strong SQL and PL/SQL skills for MSSQL databases.
• Hands-on experience with JBoss and Maven.
• Experience using Eclipse and Subversion.
• Knowledge of security best practices and SDLC processes.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to document software requirements, interface documents, and wireframes.
