Description

You will design, develop, and implement Java-based applications and web services.

Responsibilities

• Perform full lifecycle systems design, development, and troubleshooting for Java applications.
• Develop database logic using PL/SQL procedures, functions, and packages in Oracle 12c or higher.
• Integrate web-based J2EE applications using Spring and various web technologies.
• Administer and configure Java Application Servers such as JBoss.
• Build and maintain web services utilizing JSON and NIEM.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of advanced Java programming experience for systems design and implementation.
• 5+ years of experience developing with PL/SQL in Oracle 12c or higher using tools like TOAD or SQL Developer.
• 7+ years of experience with J2EE technologies including Java Server Pages, Servlets, Java Beans, and Spring.
• Proficiency with Java 1.6 and higher, Annotations, AJAX, and LDAP.
• 1+ year of experience with JBoss or similar Java Application Server administration.
• 2+ years of experience with web services and JSON.
• 5+ years of experience in web application development and troubleshooting.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with testing tools such as JMeter, JUnit, and SoapUI.
• Experience with SiteMinder for authentication and authorization.
• Experience interfacing with the California Law Enforcement Telecommunications System.
