Description

You will design, implement, and maintain high-volume, low-latency Java-based applications and cloud-native microservices.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize REST APIs with specification-by-example testing.
• Design and manage data pipelines on GCP or AWS.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists and Product Management to translate data into enterprise solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and guide development practices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years with Java and Spring Boot for microservices.
• Experience with AWS (Redshift, Athena) or GCP (BigQuery).
• Strong understanding of distributed, event-driven architectures.
• Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases with performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka.
• Proven debugging and troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Skills

• Technical leadership in solving complex engineering problems.
• Experience building scalable, fault-tolerant systems.
