Description

You will design and implement complex, multi-tier distributed software systems handling over 1M requests per day.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement distributed software systems focused on scaling and performance.
• Act as technical lead for new and existing product initiatives to define product direction.
• Solve complex technical challenges related to scale, high availability, and high velocity.
• Lead a small team and influence peers across the organization.
• Execute large scale data processing to drive product improvements.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of professional software development experience.
• Expertise in Java or other object-oriented languages.
• Strong foundation in computer science fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms.
• Deep understanding of object-oriented design methodology.
• Experience with distributed systems and service-oriented architecture.
• Proven ability to deliver in high-scale, high-availability environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with NoSQL databases.
• Large scale data processing using Hadoop.
• Familiarity with eCommerce domains.
