Description

You will design, build, and maintain distributed Java applications within an Agile team, owning the full delivery lifecycle from requirement refinement to deployment.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Lead story refinement, define technical requirements, and guide team estimation throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Perform technical spikes and proofs of concept to mitigate risk and validate new ideas.
• Develop object-oriented solutions in Java, write unit tests, and integrate with the broader application ecosystem.
• Document and communicate deployment, maintenance, and support procedures for business functionality.
• Mentor engineers and coach the team on CI/CD practices and tool automation.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of overall technology experience.
• 10+ years designing and developing in an object-oriented environment using Java.
• Proficiency in Web Application Development using Core Java and JavaScript.
• Experience with client-side technologies including React, jQuery, and Object-Oriented JavaScript.
• Experience with Oracle database systems.
• Experience with OpenShift container platform.
• Experience building Restful web services using WCF and WebAPI.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented programming structure and logic.
• Ability to lead the team and drive the design and build of new products.

Preferred Skills

• Experience mentoring junior engineers on CI/CD and automation.
• Background in distributed Agile team environments.
