You will design and develop core product components, establish team-wide design patterns, and ensure scalable solution delivery.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable solutions that meet product acceptance criteria.
• Implement enterprise standards for coding, solution design, and quality to minimize technical debt.
• Manage compliance, security requirements, and audit support at the team level.
• Guide team members through planning, estimation, peer reviews, and engineering best practices.
• Investigate process improvements and identify technical gaps to enhance existing solutions iteratively.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on Java and J2EE development experience.
• Strong experience with Singlestore/MemSQL.
• Expertise in developing and consuming REST APIs using Spring Boot.
• Deep knowledge of JDBC, backend SQL, database-stored procedures, and JPA frameworks.
• Experience building Single Page Applications at scale using Angular or React.
• Thorough understanding of API development with a focus on security and performance.
• Strong experience with JUnit and mocking frameworks such as Mockito or JMockit.
• Proficiency with Git, Kubernetes, and build/deploy pipelines.
• Knowledge of authentication and authorization using OIDC and OAuth2.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with DB2 databases.
