Description

You will provide technical advice and analytical support throughout the software development lifecycle.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate systems to ensure adherence to government directives and industry standards.
• Identify, debug, and correct defects found during testing or through customer feedback.
• Evaluate code for validity, compatibility, and security compliance.
• Investigate production issues and implement technical solutions.
• Recommend new technologies and manage version updates for existing systems.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of core Java development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java SDK 1.8 and Spring Boot (Embedded Tomcat).
• Experience implementing REST and SOAP web services.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud platforms.
• Solid JavaScript experience, including NodeJS.
• Working knowledge of Oracle database platforms and PL/SQL.
• Experience with secure coding practices and Fortify.
• Proficiency with Agile methodologies and JIRA.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Microservices, Service Oriented Architecture, and OAuth.
• Automated testing using Cucumber, Groovy, or Apache Spark.
• DevOps experience with Chef or Bamboo.
