Description

Support the migration of mapping systems to ArcGIS Pro as a Contract Java Developer.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Refactor OnMap and eMap applications for migration to ArcGIS Pro and Azure.
• Develop ArcGIS Pro customizations to support map maintenance workflows.
• Support data migration of OnMap mapping data to the Canadian Parcel Data Model.
• Setup ADO pipelines for application build and deployment.
• Troubleshoot software issues and implement technical fixes based on specifications.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of systems development experience in multi-tier applications.
• Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, and Python programming.
• Experience with OpenJDK, Spring, SpringBoot, and Hibernate.
• Experience with .NET C# programming or ArcGIS technology.
• Knowledge of Oracle RDBMS Database or Postgres.
• Experience addressing security issues compliant with OWASP standards.
• Experience working within Agile project environments.
