Description

You will develop and maintain scalable Java applications and distributed systems handling high-volume transactions.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and build distributed systems for high-volume transaction processing.
• Define and enforce technical standards, including coding guidelines and platform tools.
• Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to standards.
• Collaborate with customers, peers, and management in a virtual environment.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of professional software development experience.
• Expert-level proficiency in Java and backend development.
• Experience with full stack development, including Angular, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Strong knowledge of Web Services, specifically REST and SOAP.
• Familiarity with interface standards such as HL7 2.x/3.x, TopNet, and OERDB.
• Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies (2-week sprints, Daily Stand Ups, PI Planning).
• Proficiency in using Jira for story and sprint tracking.
