Description

You will design, develop, and implement scalable Java web applications in a complex multi-platform environment. You will own the architecture, lead technical direction, and mentor junior developers to ensure delivery of business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and code clean, maintainable systems that meet business requirements.
• Lead large projects by providing technical oversight and direction to the development team.
• Mentor junior developers to support their professional growth and ensure delivery of objectives.
• Collaborate with analysts and developers to ensure applications comply with architectural guidelines.
• Participate in quality assurance initiatives throughout the entire development life cycle.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of object-oriented software development experience.
• 10+ years of experience developing web and J2EE applications using Java, JSP/Servlets, EJB, JMS, and MVC APIs (Struts, JSF).
• 8+ years of SQL experience with strong knowledge of DB2 and PostgreSQL.
• 3+ years of microservices development experience.
• Proficiency in Java object design, patterns, and REST API development.
• Experience with HTML, XML, and DHTML.
• Experience with containerization.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of CMS 3-zone Architecture.
• Experience with Medicare Secondary Payer (MSP) business processing.
