Description

Design and implement scalable microservices using Java 11 and Spring Boot. Own the release pipeline and deploy services on AWS.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Write clean, modular, and testable Java code.
• Build and maintain microservices architectures.
• Develop REST APIs following industry best practices.
• Manage production deployments using CI/CD practices.
• Deploy and manage services within the AWS Cloud Platform.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of overall software engineering experience.
• 10+ years of professional experience specifically with Java.
• Strong experience with Java 11 and Spring Boot framework.
• Proven experience building microservices.
• Proficiency with REST API design.
• Experience with AWS Cloud Platform.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes orchestration.
• Practical knowledge of CI/CD practices.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Apache Kafka and Kafka Streams.
• Familiarity with basic web application security concepts.
• Ability to explain technical solutions to both engineering and non-technical stakeholders.
