You will design and build scalable backend systems using Java, microservices, and modern cloud-native patterns.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement advanced microservices architectures using Spring Boot.
• Develop and optimize database-intensive applications utilizing NoSQL solutions like Couchbase.
• Design and implement robust messaging systems using Kafka, AMQ, and WMQ.
• Build complex routing and transformation logic using Apache Camel.
• Manage container orchestration and CI/CD pipelines within OpenShift or Kubernetes environments.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of professional experience with Java, building scalable applications.
• 6+ years experience in Spring Boot, focusing on microservices design.
• 3+ years experience with Angular for front-end development.
• 3+ years experience with NoSQL databases, specifically Couchbase.
• 3+ years experience implementing messaging systems with Kafka, AMQ, and WMQ.
• 2+ years experience with Apache Camel for complex routing.
• 2+ years experience with OpenShift or Kubernetes, including CI/CD.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Cucumber for behavior-driven development.
