Description

You will design, implement, and maintain software applications for measuring and managing risk in loan and investment portfolios.

Responsibilities

• Design, propose, and deliver high-quality full stack products.
• Enhance existing designs to improve code quality and system efficiency.
• Build reusable, scalable frameworks, APIs, libraries, and services.
• Provide technical leadership and training to junior team members.
• Partner with modeling, IT, and business teams to deliver financial model applications.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java.
• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and SAWS.
• Experience building resilient, scalable software for cloud and on-prem environments.
• Deep understanding of software engineering principles, including design, development, and operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• US Citizen or Green Card holder.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the financial industry, specifically mortgages.
• Exposure to quantitative finance, data science, or Big Data technologies.
