Description

You will design, develop, and test Java-based applications across the full lifecycle from development to production.

Responsibilities

• Write clean, scalable code using Java and refactor, debug, and improve existing software.
• Develop, test, and deploy applications within an Agile environment.
• Collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture using REST/RPC APIs.
• Maintain documentation throughout the development lifecycle and provide technical support.
• Monitor performance utilization and troubleshoot software or hardware failures.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of core Java development with strong back-end experience.
• 5+ years of Java expertise including Annotations, Generics, Reflection, Inheritance, OO Design, NIO, and Bean Validation.
• 3+ years of Spring Boot application development.
• 3+ years of Spring framework experience, specifically Java Config, Dependency Injection, and Autowiring concepts.
• 3+ years of Spring Integration and Spring Web Services development.
• 3+ years of synchronous and asynchronous programming, including Callbacks, Future, Timeout, and Error Handling.
• 3+ years of Maven project build experience.
• 3+ years of Git version control and JIRA issue tracking.
• 3+ years of experience with Tomcat, Jetty, or Undertow application servers and Linux environments.

Preferred Skills

• Red Hat OpenShift container-based application development and deployment.
• Working with mainframe CICS containers and channels using JCAs connector.
• Knowledge of CI/CD practices.
