Description

You will develop and maintain UI and service components for an established Java and JavaScript product line.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Research, plan, and design large-scale system components.
• Pair program daily with developers during design, development, and code reviews.
• Write and maintain unit tests for all new or modified code.
• Partner with QA for regression testing and Product Development to validate changes.
• Lead software planning and design phases while providing technical guidance to junior staff.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Proficiency in Java and JavaScript.
• Strong SQL skills for relational database design and querying.
• Hands-on experience with pair programming.
• Experience building solutions that call APIs and maintaining API documentation.
• Proficiency with Git source control and branching strategies.
• Experience with unit testing and test automation.
• Ability to write and revise technical documentation for complex systems.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working within Agile processes.
