Build and optimize large-scale Big Data applications, designing micro-service architectures and managing cloud migrations.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize Big Data applications using Java, Scala, and Spark on Hadoop/HDP or Cloudera.
• Design and develop micro-service architectures using Spring and Spring Boot.
• Migrate complex, large-scale projects from on-premises to cloud environments, including hybrid setups.
• Implement containerized solutions using Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
• Develop scalable solutions using Python.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of application development experience in Java and the Spring Framework.
• 5+ years of application development experience in Hadoop, Spark, Java, and Scala.
• 5+ years developing and optimizing Big Data applications using Java/Scala and Spark on Cloudera/HDP.
• Extensive experience with AWS or Azure, including cloud migration strategies.
• Proven hands-on experience with containerization tools: Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
• 2+ years of programming experience in Python.
• Experience with micro-service architecture design.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with hybrid cloud environments.
• Background in migrating legacy on-prem systems to modern cloud infrastructures.
