Description

You will develop and maintain backend services using Java, Cassandra, and Kafka.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop Java applications focused on large volume, low latency transactions.
• Design and implement data structures utilizing Cassandra for high-volume data needs.
• Process asynchronous messages reliably using Apache Kafka.
• Support and maintain backend web applications.

Required Skills

• 14+ years of overall development experience.
• 8+ years focused on backend web application development.
• Expert proficiency in Java (version 11+).
• Deep understanding of Spring Framework and related libraries.
• Experience with Cassandra database design and query patterns for large data sets.
• Familiarity with Apache Kafka for asynchronous messaging.
• Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency with Git version control.
