Description

You will develop asynchronous reactive microservices using Java and Vert.x.

Responsibilities

• Build asynchronous reactive microservices utilizing Vert.x.
• Design database schemas, manage index design, and perform query tuning optimizations.
• Develop REST APIs using Spring Boot 2.0 reactive patterns and Open API specifications.
• Write clean code and participate in peer code and architecture reviews.
• Apply Test Driven Development (TDD) practices across the development lifecycle.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in software development.
• Proficiency in Java 11 (Lambdas, Streams, CompletableFuture, Optional, Generics).
• Expertise in Java functional and reactive programming.
• Experience with Spring Boot (Webflux, Reactor 3) and Spring Data.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka and MQ messaging systems.
• Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Competency with Git workflows, Gradle, and mock frameworks.
• Experience with observability tools including Jaeger and Prometheus.
• Ability to perform load testing and work with REST APIs.

Preferred Skills

• Java certification.
