Description

Lead the design and development of scalable backend systems and microservices architectures.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable, maintainable backend systems using Java and Spring Boot.
• Architect microservices and deploy them within cloud-native environments.
• Implement API designs using RESTful and GraphQL patterns.
• Manage application deployment and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Develop distributed systems utilizing message queues and event-driven architectures.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• 3-5 years in a leadership or architect role.
• In-depth knowledge of Java 8+, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Spring Security.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for production environments.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and integration patterns.
• Experience with distributed systems and message queues like Kafka or RabbitMQ.

Preferred Skills

• Experience securing microservices with OAuth, JWT, and other mechanisms.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK stack.
• Background in performance optimization, profiling, and tuning Java applications.
