Description

You will develop security features and resolve complex technical issues for Network Access Control and Endpoint Compliance products.

Responsibilities

• Develop new security features and maintain existing product functionality.
• Analyze customer escalations to identify root causes and reproduce technical issues in-house.
• Write and implement software code changes to resolve identified defects.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor other engineers on troubleshooting methodologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product stability and supportability.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in software development or sustaining engineering.
• Proficiency in Java programming.
• Strong experience with C and C++.
• Experience with Linux/Unix development and system environments.
• Proficiency in Perl and Linux scripting (awk, sed, regular expressions).
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking protocols.
• Experience using Atlassian tools including Jira and Confluence.
• Experience working within a Kanban development methodology.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with ForeScout products.
