Description

You will act as a technical expert in application and systems engineering, driving design recommendations based on long-term IT strategy.

Responsibilities

• Design business-critical software solutions applying technical knowledge to drive customer outcomes.
• Develop core software independently or collaboratively, ensuring stability and scalability.
• Contribute to engineering practices, templates, and frameworks by defining engineering standards.
• Promote and expand the use of the CI/CD pipeline to improve build and deployment processes.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers, solving complex software issues.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in engineering environments, translating concepts into detailed software engineering plans.
• Sound knowledge of industry standard Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) practices.
• Sound knowledge of version and revision control practices and procedures.
• Sound knowledge of systems design concepts providing security.
• Proficiency in Java.
• Experience with CI/CD Pipeline implementation.
• Familiarity with Python and Javascript.
• Ability to work and problem solve independently on strategic initiatives.
