Description

You will own the development and migration of on-prem and internal PaaS applications to AWS, focusing on serverless patterns and microservices architecture.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement serverless patterns and containerized applications for AWS migration.
• Build industry-standard RESTful APIs and establish connectivity protocols and routing policies.
• Develop architecture patterns optimized for SLAs, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Establish software craftsmanship practices including TDD/BDD, test automation, and CI/CD.
• Drive performance improvements through monitoring, metrics, and trend analysis.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of IT experience with Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• Extensive experience with Spring Boot, Quarkus, and Node.js.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in AWS, including ECS, EKS, S3, Lambda, SQS/SNS, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, SageMaker, and Athena.
• Proficiency with DevOps pipelines using GitLab CI, GitHub, Jenkins, or Circle CI.
• Strong knowledge of microservices and web service standards.
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as WireMock, Mockito, Postman, REST Assured, Cypress, or Ready API.
• Experience with TDD/BDD methodologies and unit testing using JUnit and SonarQube.
• Ability to work in Agile environments using tools like VersionOne or Agility.

Preferred Skills

• AWS Certification.
• Experience with OpenShift or MQ.
• Experience building software within the airline industry.
