You will design and build web and server applications in an agile environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement REST API frameworks while migrating existing SOAP APIs.
• Migrate application capabilities using containers, APIs, and AWS cloud-native services.
• Contribute to the full software development lifecycle, including design, testing, deployment, and documentation.
• Mature DevSecOps practices to automate delivery and maintain security standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into user stories, mockups, and data flows.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software development experience.
• Proficiency in Java and JavaScript, including HTML, CSS, JSON, YAML, and XML.
• Experience with Spring framework and Hibernate.
• Strong understanding of REST API creation and consumption.
• Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of containerization and cloud-native service development.
• Practical application of Clean Code, DevSecOps, and Shift-Left Testing principles.
• Understanding of microservices architecture, ORM, and domain modeling.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD/CT concepts, Linux environments, and shell scripting (bash).

Preferred Skills

• Experience mentoring junior developers.
• Experience migrating database-backed live systems.
