You will build and maintain scalable backend systems and integrated user-facing elements.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Write clean, maintainable Java code to develop server-side logic and backend systems.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices to power applications.
• Optimize database designs using SQL or NoSQL for performance and data integrity.
• Integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic in collaboration with front-end teams.
• Implement security protocols including authentication, authorization, and data protection.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in software development.
• Expertise in Java 8+ and Spring frameworks (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Data).
• Proven experience designing and consuming RESTful services.
• Proficiency with SQL databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Experience with NoSQL databases, specifically MongoDB.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with automated testing using JUnit and Mockito.
• Proficiency with Git and Agile tools like JIRA.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
