Description

Lead the design, development, and maintenance of full-stack Java applications and system enhancements.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Own the release pipeline and resolve complex production issues.
• Lead team efforts to evaluate and improve department systems and applications.
• Construct modules, develop testing methods, and design modifications within existing architecture.
• Design and execute test plans to validate application functions.
• Mentor and train associates, serving as a technical resource for management.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in software application development and maintenance.
• Expertise in Java (versions 11 or 17) and the Spring framework.
• Proficiency with Spring Boot, Spring Data, and Spring Security.
• Experience with React JS for front-end development.
• Strong SQL scripting and experience with PostgreSQL.
• Hands-on experience with DevSecOps and PowerShell scripting.
• Deep understanding of SDLC methodologies including Waterfall and Agile, using JIRA.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Required professional certifications.

Preferred Skills

• Extensive Spring experience with Spring Cloud, Spring Data JPA, and Spring Batch.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, GitLab, Appian, or Pegasystems.
