Description

You will design, develop, and deploy enterprise-level applications using Java and cloud-native technologies in McLean, VA.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop applications using Java 8+, J2EE, and Spring Boot frameworks.
• Implement microservices architectures using Spring Boot and RESTful APIs.
• Build and maintain user interfaces using Angular or ReactJS.
• Design and implement cloud-based solutions leveraging AWS services like EC2, IAM, S3, and Lambda.
• Collaborate with project teams to define application design, build processes, and deployment strategies.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in the design and development of applications using Java/J2EE.
• 2+ years of experience designing microservices with Spring Boot and REST APIs.
• 2+ years of experience with UI frameworks such as Angular or ReactJS.
• 1+ years of experience implementing cloud solutions using AWS (EC2, IAM, S3, Lambda).
• Strong experience with ORM frameworks including JPA and Hibernate.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency with RDBMS/PostgreSQL.
• Experience with DevOps toolchains including Jenkins, Artifactory, Maven/Gradle, and Git/BitBucket.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.

Preferred Skills

• AWS Certification.
• Experience with OAuth implementation using Ping Identity.
• Familiarity with API Management (Apigee), Service Mesh (Istio), and ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).
