Description

You will migrate and modernize legacy customer applications to MongoDB using Agile methodologies.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Deliver software solutions on small Agile teams to migrate legacy applications to MongoDB.
• Contribute to planning, design, and solutioning to move applications from source to target states.
• Participate in sprint grooming, planning, and showcases with technical suggestions.
• Follow migration playbook best practices while innovating to solve project-specific challenges.
• Adopt new technologies as projects evolve, specifically focusing on GenAI advancements and OpenAI API integration.

Required Skills

• 7-10+ years of experience in software development.
• Strong proficiency in Java.
• Experience with Enterprise Java architectures including J2EE, JavaEE, or Spring.
• Strong experience building applications that interact with relational databases using SQL.
• Experience with Git version control and CI/CD pipelines.
• Applied experience with Agile methodologies and test-first development.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of microservices architectures and Domain-Driven Design.
• Experience with Python, JavaScript, or Node.js.
• Experience with ORMs such as Hibernate or JPA.
