Description

You will design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications and distributed systems using Java.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement distributed systems and REST Web Services.
• Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code using Java 8 and Spring Boot.
• Take ownership of assigned tasks and deliverables within an Agile environment.
• Collaborate with the team using Agile methodologies and version control tools.

Required Skills

• 5-10 years of programming experience with Java and J2EE.
• 2+ years of development experience with Java 8, Spring Boot, Spring Core, Spring MVC, and Spring Security.
• Experience with REST Web Services, XML, and database development using SQL.
• Competence in distributed systems design and Object-Oriented Design.
• Proficiency in test-driven development and advanced unit testing with Mockito.
• Familiarity with GIT repositories (Bitbucket) and UNIX (Linux) environments.
