Description

You will design and develop full-stack applications using Java and GCP, integrating legacy systems with modern cloud data solutions.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring MVC.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Git, GitHub Actions, and Maven.
• Analyze and refactor legacy codebases, including Weblogic and Struts.
• Develop data engineering solutions on GCP using Python (Composer, Dataflow, Cloud SQL, BigQuery).
• Write shell scripts and maintain web application components.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of web application development experience.
• Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Spring MVC.
• Experience with Weblogic, Struts, and SQL/Oracle.
• Proficiency in CI/CD practices and Git/GitHub Actions.
• Familiarity with Angular and Maven.
• Hands-on experience with GCP cloud design and development.
• Proficiency in Python for GCP data engineering tasks.
• Ability to write shell scripts.
• Must pass a coding test.

Preferred Skills

• Experience refactoring legacy enterprise applications.
• Strong background in data engineering on GCP.
