Description

You will design and develop scalable distributed streaming systems using Java, Apache Kafka, and OpenShift.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform requirement analysis and create detailed technical designs for streaming services.
• Develop high-quality Java applications using Spring Boot and Kafka Streams.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications on OpenShift and Kubernetes environments.
• Conduct unit testing with automated frameworks and implement distributed caching with Redis.
• Review peer code, identify risks, and enforce coding standards and best practices.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of professional Java application development experience.
• Strong proficiency with Apache Kafka and Kafka Streams.
• Hands-on experience with the Spring Boot framework.
• Practical experience with OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) or Kubernetes.
• Experience implementing distributed caching solutions, specifically Redis.
• Ability to conduct risk assessment and mitigation planning.
• Strong understanding of automated unit testing frameworks.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with distributed systems architecture.
• Strong understanding of container orchestration principles.
